How we research an atlas
An atlas points to specific places your buyers gather, with evidence you can check and confidence you can judge.
We start from the audience, not the channel
We describe the product and buyer, then search named places they already use: forums, directories, events, newsletters, and community rules.
Every place carries a link and a checked date
Each place has a direct link and checked date, so you can verify it yourself.
The verdict comes before the evidence
A plain verdict comes first, followed by the evidence and the next move.
Sizes drift and platforms rarely publish honest numbers. We report broad ranges, not precise headcounts, and label them estimates.
Activity measures posting and replies. A small, busy group can beat a large, silent one.
How a caveat reads: "Roughly 8–12k members at last check; likely inflated by inactive accounts. Treat it as a signal, not a target."
Last checked
The atlas review date: when we checked the verdict, ranking, and places as a set.
Last verified alive
The place's last live check: when we confirmed it exists and people are still there.
Buyers often gather in trade associations, regional shows, certification bodies, niche newsletters, and old forums — not just the usual social channels.
These quieter channels are less crowded and higher-trust, so we weight them deliberately.
